It's a very good deal, but I like the plasma pictures better than the LCD's. They are almost there but not quite. You still can see ghosting once in awhile.
But for most people they can't even tell the difference. Also, add that they wiill throw in a free wall mount I don't think you can go wrong here.

I finally ordered the 40" Samsung LCD tv online and saved a few hundred vs. the same exact tv in a nearby walmart store!!
Wall mount was free too!!
Got the extended 2 year warranty for peace of mind....Only $78 extra
1st LCD I have purchased!!! Just in time for NFL season!

I also signed up for HD access with Directv. They offered free upgrade and free HD receiver box.
I had been using Dish Network, but they wouldnt give me free HD upgrade or a free HD receiver.
I had to cancel their services......

Hey, I just bought a Samsung model number LN-T4053H at Sears for 1600....it is also a 40" TV...what is the difference between yours and mine ? I'll call Sears and cancel if we basically have the same TV's and yours was about 500 cheaper. I just looked at both models and couldn't figure it out,I'm not much of a gadget guy...appreciate some help if anybody is good at this shit ! Thanks fellas !

With a quick glance, it appears as if yours is a more current model...............8000:1 contrast & 3 HDMI ports. Many manufacturers make the same size sets with different features...........therefore different model #'s.

I should also add that I've seen very similar models sold @ different stores...........but with different model #'s. Some may be black instead of gray.........or with mounting options as compared to none. Stuff along those lines.

Not sure what the differences are between the 2 Samsungs....Seems like mine has 5000:1 contrast ratio
Also, I think there are 2 HDMI ports
Waiting on it to be delivered this week. Seemed like a good deal for me.
Best of luck!
