question about building a webpage

do most sites use client side scripting or server side scripting (or even both)? I have both dreamweaver and visual studios (asp.net), and I was wondering if I can design a static web page using dreamweaver than combine it with a server side page using asp.net?

You should be able to, but you should contact your webhost and ask them.  Each are different.  Should be in thier Q and A section.  But if not, give them a yell.

hey lipps just wondering do you use flash or silverlight for multi-media purposes? thanks for the response btw

Mostly flash, but Silverlight is starting to creep up the list.
