PNY Flash Disk Broken

For some reason my Flash disk stop working today...Is there any way I can recover the info on it?

 

When you plug it in does the computer "see" it at all.  Do you see any hardware detected boxes come up, or is it listed as a drive under "My Computer" at all?

I'm getting nothing! Nothing pops up on the computer or the green light on the flash disk

Couple of things you can do.  First you can put some light pressure on the stick to see if it's detected.  Just push it up or down as much as you can without breaking it.

 

If this doesn't work, you can try to take it out of it's plastic case.  Where you can just see the electronics and try it again.  It may be a trace that has broken and the pressure may "push" the trace back together long enough for the drive to detect.

 

If this doesn't work there are places than try to retrieve the data off it.  But it's a bit pricey, so get a quote first.
