Philips Ambilight Plasma/LCD

Anybody have the Ambilight?  I think they are absolutely amazing and will be purchasing either the 50" Plasma or 42" LCD.  The 50" Plasma would be an overkill in my living room due to size but for only $400 more it is very tempting

I'm going to pull the trigger on one of these within the next week.  I figure I better treat myself to something nice before my 1st baby comes in October

I have a couple of friends that have one.  The picture is very nice but both of them got tired of the light after a couple months.

I've had some Phillips products over the years. I would suggest you read as many reviews as you can find on these before buying 1.
