need to buy a new wireless router....

i need to buy a new router.  i have no idea whats going on with routers these days, seems new technology comes out all the time.  anyway, my computer can do wireless n but i'm not sure i need it.  i just need something to surf the net with, i don't need fast downloads with wireless and the computers won't be more than 50 feet from the router at all times.  i am trying to spend as little as possible.  anyone have any suggestions models, or know of any sales or deals going on??  thanks guys

for router/networking equipment, I usually stick w/ Linksys.  If the card in your computer is wireless-N capable, you might as well get the wireless-N router to maximize it's performance.  It isn't all that much more than a wireless-G router nowadays.

re: sales or deals: are you willing to mail order?  where are you located?

Linksys fan myself
