mini laptops help..

guys i need help...


i want to buy mini laptop for my wife. I already have big one - MSI 17'', but now i need a mini for for my wife and to carry it on my trips.

So please tell me what should i get...this should be 10,1'' mini.

any suggestions would be welcomed.

I will check some out for ya.  No real decent sales on them at this time.  But give it a few days.

Asus 1215N  with the new ION graphics, ddr3 ram. Price around 500 bucks, 7 hours of battery time and then it can do everything a normal laptop can do that other mini books struggle with.

That is the one i would chose. But obviously i also want my machine to be able to do some stuff. Play movies, open a lot of sites, stream online, and ofcourse having a 12 inch monitor.

If it is exclusively for light browsing and stuff where battery time is very important. Then i would look at the new upgraded msi wind u160dx

Its a 10 inch monitor, a little lighter on the hardware but with 15 hours of battery time  (or so they claim).
