Lippsman a question

I had to reinstall windows XP on a desktop and I can't get the resolution over 640. THe lowest is the only option. Do I need to find the driver for the monitor? And reinstall the driver? Thanks

Lipps I can't connect to the internet with that computer. I'm using a netgear wg111 usb adapter. When I double click on the network icon in the taskbar there is a lock symbol above the wireless icon in the sent received. How do I get rid of that and connect to the internet to download that driver. Thanks

I know now that the lock means secured network. I am using the netgear smart wizard and can't refresh the network list in windows
