Hey Lippsman, my father is looking to buy a desktop computer, he just bought a laptop with 4gb, what numbers should he be looking at on a desktop that would be above average gb, speed, etc? thanks

Depends on what he is using it for. But generally 3 gb of ram, at least a 320 Gb hard drive, duel core cpu and if he is a power user, such as doing photos or cad programs a quad core. Atleast a 19" monitor.

How much was he looking to put in it ?
