Lipps, you had to know this was coming after I bought a Mac

I gotta shamelessly slink in here after buying a Macbook knowing about 10% of what I do about windows as I do Mac stuff.

There doesn't seem to be a bunch of little basic things like a defrag or compress files, etc.............when it seems a little slow.

Any good ideas on getting this thing working a little speedier? My internet is usually my verizon USB port, so I can use it anywhere. I suppose if I had it connected with my cable at home, it might be better and faster.

You have any opinions other than buy another Windows laptop? (I might anyway, when I'm a little more flush..........)

Seems you've been rare around, probably more me than you. Waiting for the rinks to open?

I not as visible on the boards during the off-season.  Do more behind the scenes stuff.

I'm already doing the writeups for this season.  One division down and plenty more to go.

I played for quite awhile, 15+ yrs or so, and some old guys stuff in my late 20s............

Never capped it, and Hoops has just taken over everthing as far as everyday viewing/capping that time of year Lipps. I can't really explain it...

Part of it might be that I really enjoyed playing, and I can't hold a Basketball and jump more than a foot off the ground. (hopefully not that bad). I play in pick up games and stuff. Same with Baseball. Love the sport, it's rich history, etc., but I didn't play it like pucks......

Think it's just that I don't like watching others do what I liked to do so much. My rationale anyways.......
