I was just wondering what you recommended as far as plasma/lcd deals for the upcoming holidays.  My sister is looking to get a nice television of some sort, and a few of us were going to chip in with a $1,000 limit.

I saw a couple of 42 inch Plasma televisions on EBay by Samsung and LG that were around $800-$850.  Are there any websites offering good deals right now... or do you think prices will drop a lot come Christmas time?

Thanks for any help

yup... pretty much the day after after Thanksgiving (Black Friday) thru Xmas they'll be having deals.  Keep an eye on this site as some of the Black Friday ads start leaking out
