Lipps... Computer Question

I recently installed Norton 360 onto my laptop.  Ever since doing that whenever I start up my computer I have to open the task manager and quit firefox before it will let me open it.... Somehow it says firefox is always running even though I never opened it.  Once I force quit... it works normally... but it is a pain in the ass.

Any suggestions

Lipps... I agree what a headache this has been.  I actually got live help support where they can access and use my computer through theirs.  The first person took about a half hour, and solved the problem... but then Norton 360 no longer worked.  The second person got Norton 360 to work again but now I have the same problem with firefox.  I tried following your instructions but I just don't think 360 is compatable with firefox?  They had me delete and reinstall it and the same problem is still occurring.  They get a D for customer support help... although I have to say I have been virus free as long as I have used them...
