I have a laptop thats about 9 months old and there are a handful of keys that stopped working, not stuck, nothing spilled on it they just stopped working, pc says nothing is wrong.....any suggestions? its still under warranty but was hoping there was something I could do, troubleshooting it said to update the driver but it says its working fine....appreciate any help.

Try starting the laptop in safe mode and see if all of the keys work.
If you don't know, hit the F8 button before the windows logo comes up. Just pick regular safe mode and try. If they still don't work then you probably have a faulty cable going to the motherboard. A worse case would be the motherboard going on you. Either way, send it in before the coverage runs out.
If the keyboard does work in safe mode then you problaby have something nasty running in the background during normal mode.
