To track down on the CPU the discussion someone had on MIRC for example?
 
My GF had a few nights of chatting on MIRC and want to retreive if possible the conversations she had.......

I would say yes.

Lipps might know more but I think you can find a history of your chats in the MIRC folder, similar to a IE cache folder.

I havent IRC chatted in a long time but I remember it is possible.

I know they make software that you can track every key stroke just not sure what its called anymore.... so many of them out their just not sure which ones work on that chat service good luck hope your girl is being straight with ya

It depends on the IRC software.  The popular one is Mirc, at least I think that's what it is.  Haven't done IRC in a long time.
 
You can get a keystroke logger that plugs into a USB port.  Or there is software like Camp said that will take screenshots and capture keystrokes.  If you think you still need it give me a yell and I will post links to both items.

hey by the way bro, do you know any sites that let you download music for free anymore, seems like limewire isnt free any longer or what the heck i did i have no idea

I used that years ago and it threw all sorts of crap on my computer thanks to people attaching lovely garbage to files.
