Just purchased the 16gb version and wanted to know if any guys out there have one and would tell me some tips/tricks to move around?

I'm flying to California tomorrow and wanted something smaller than a portable dvd player to watch movies on.

Well, I finally figured it out.

Its good, but nothing that special. The battery life is spectacular, so that is the reason I'm keeping it.

It has built in wi-fi also that is ok, but who needs that on an IPod when you have a BlackBerry and a Verizon card?

Sound is decent, and maneuverability is pretty simple once you play with a little bit...

I have the 8gb and love it for movies, tv shows, and music. Not a big fan of some of the applications and I have a hard time trying to type in it. I guess my fingers are too fat. I have to use an eraser to navigate anything requiring typing.

Any tricks in that regard would be awesome.

you need to jailbreak it so you can get all the good apps and games on there

Jailbreaking basically unlocks the touch so you can install 3rd party apps that other people create. You download a program called winpwn that does it for you. I did it to unlock and jailbreak my iphone and it worked great. I just did it so i can get the games and apps that i wante because i dont want to play apple for apps

Oh gotcha. Besides Google Earth, what apps are good for the touch?

I have a Blackberry with web, so the wi-fi on the touch is basically obsolete...
