Ipod experts, please help!!!

Just got the Itouch 32GB for my little daughter today.  I've been googling all afternoon trying to figure out how to jailbreak the darn thing so I can download other apps and games for her besides the ones from Itune.

Does anyone know how to jailbreak it (3rd generation) and if possible, where can I find free kid games to download for her?

what firmware are you running on it? I will assume it is 3.1.3 if you just bought it. If it is 3.1.3 then you cannot jailbreak it at the moment because that version for the touch has not been broken yet. If you are running a lower version that is better because then I could help you.

Don't do much with the Pods. I do know the latest one hasn't really been hacked much yet.  But just wait a little while longer.  It will be.

it is 3.1.3.  I googled and found  that out too.  I guess I'll just have shell out some money for those kids games.  Those free games are very shitty.

u have to downgrade your firmware from 3.1.3

to 3.1.2 in order to jailbreak.

to check what firmware your running

look into settings/general/about

scroll down to see what firmware you have

it shouldn't be that long before you can jailbreak 3.1.3. All these nerds do all day is try to figure out how to screw apple
