I just bought a new HP notebook and didn't realize it until I got home but it has a HDMI outlet. So, now I have a few questions...
 
Will just any regular 1080 HDMI cable do the trick here?
HDMI will be better quality then an s-video right?
 
Can I download HD movies now and stream those right to my TV so I get them in 1080p? If so, know any good sites to download them from?
 
I'm new to this so any and all info would be great.

Yep, just pick up any cable...The quality will be better..
 
You can put anything on the TV, you will just need to activate your video out port on your laptop.  There will be a button combination where you can do that.
 
No places to download HD movies.  Those suckers are huge....even with broadband it would take quite awhile to do it.
