i wanna clean out my harddrive whats the best thing out there thanks

What exactly do you mean by clean out ?

i have a laptop i am going to be selling i want all my personal info gone

Either destructive recovery (if you have a recovery partition) or reformat the hard drive (if you have Windows Installation discs).

Eraser is a program that will fit your needs.  Delete any personal info (make sure you delete everything though) and then use Eraser to wipe the free space of the hard drive.  This makes deleted files not able to be recovered

I would use DBAN myself if I was selling the machine
