F.E.A.R. for XBox 360

I just got the system and the game today, and I played for nine straight hours.  Fucking awesome.

 

Anyone else got this "game of the year" candidate?  Also, I've heard the new PS3 shipments all have glitches and bugs...confirmed?

 

 

I wouldnt doubt that the new machines have bugs, thats why i dont know why people rush out and pay 4 times the real price of a machine, just to get them first.

Wait until everything settles down and the bugs are worked out.

The game was released around Thanksgiving last year for the PC.... And I believe it was the best game ever made to be honest with you. I was up until 6 AM almost every single day playing it.

It's driving the X-Box sales now.

I just picked it up today. I heard great things about it, I was going to wait to play it until I finshed gears of war but reading your post makes me want to try it out now.Hmmmm what to do?

I was thinking about getting F.E,A,R i really liked the Demo

I am on level 9 right now.  I played for 13 hours straight today and failed to make it to work.

 

I played so long I am seeing game images when I close my eyes.  The wife is pretty sick of the game.  I guess the joy of the Coach purse that I bought her when I brought home the 360 has worn off.  Damn...figured I'd get about a week of slack for that one.

I beat it today.  Took about 24 hours to beat.  Certainly not on the level of San Andreas, which took several MONTHS for me to finish.

 

Still, a quality game but rental material...and I am not a "quick study" with beating games.

Rainbox Six Vegas is the shit Been playin that on xbox live a lot.

 

I never got into the "live" shit...what am I missing?  It's more a matter of being lazy than disinterested.

Live lets you play online against others, the multiplayer games are great on live.

Rainbow Six Vegas is sick on live, i'm addicted.  I believe up to 14 people can play, I usually do team play 7 vs. 7.

Also if you have the 360 you can download game demos, movies and stuff like that.  I just downloaded Contra on my xbox360.

I was thinking about getting one.  I see that you can get one for 299 and for 399 with 20gb hardrive.  I probably know the answer to this, but if I just wanna play games and save, for example, a season of Madden, I would be fine with the 299 one correct?  I figure the one with the 20gb is just so you can dl music and crap to it, right?

I don't know, but I was very disappointed to learn that Destroy All Humans 2, which came out AFTER XBox 360 was launched, is not compatible.  Maybe I sold my XBox too quickly.
