DSL or Cable?

Question

I&#x27;m moving into a new home, and I need to decide.  I have been on cable for years, and no complaints except for the bill.  Is DSL worth a try?  Who has DSL nowadays?  I really want to fire Time Warner, but I won&#x27;t do it if I&#x27;m just going to be frustrated with slow speed or outages.  I&#x27;m definitely switching my TV from cable to satellite.  Please chime in if you have good or bad stories about DSL

Depends where you live &amp; what you&#x27;re doing/trying to do online...........if you can get dsl @ 7/1mbs you may be OK for some streaming &amp; browsing. Anything below that &amp; you may not be thrilled if you&#x27;re used to cable speeds.

You need to ask yourself what do you want the service for? High speed computer usage or for watching TV. That's your first question.

I've had great luck with Time Warner cable for tv and internet.

I&#x27;ve decided to not cut the budget on this.  Sticking with TW cable, I still hate them though
