Computers - Hard Drive Jumpers

quick question, i am installing a 2nd HD (internal) on my computer, just for downloads/music/movies. so it will not be a primary hd, i guess a secondary. just for storage

do the jumpers on the back of the hard drive need to be in a certain slot?

If it's an IDE drive then yes
