Computer commits suicide..

Question

I&#x27;m having the most frustrating problem - when I turn my computer on it&#xD;&#xA;gets to the loading/splash screen where the bars move across and then&#xD;&#xA;it goes black. I have tried recovery console and then repair files&#xD;&#xA;which it seemed to do but after rebooting I still cant get past the&#xD;&#xA;loading screen. Could this be a graphics card issue? I can get into&#xD;&#xA;safe mode, if the graphics card had died would it even get that far? Anyone in the know please?

If you can get into safe mode it&#x27;s most likely a corrupted video card driver or you have some virus/spyware giving you trouble.   When you get into safe mode, go to accessories/system tools/system restore and roll back your computer to the date it was still working correctly.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;What brand of computer do you have ?
