Comcast to limit bandwidth to 250GB per month.

My Mom just left me a message that stated she saw on the news that the greedy bastards at Comcast are putting forth a 250GB bandwidth limit per month. If you go over this limit they will charge you additional fees.My question? How does this affect the average user? I doubt I use anything close to that much per month, but I am curious how much the " average " user might use per month? How can I check how much I am using?

Comcast will have a login where you can see how much you use.  Unless you are downloading tons of music or video clips you should be ok

The average person won't come even close to the 250, I think this is Comcast's way of telling their heaviest users/abusers to go fuck off and we don't want your business anymore.

Thats just the begininng, companies will be lowering that number bigtime, to make everybody basically pay more for the net

 Comcast has obvious issues. They can't afford to upgrade so capping their subs is their answer........
