Alienware Laptop

Question

so my buddy gave me his sick alienware laptop, its a Area 51 m something or other. It has buttons on the front and also displays the time on the front. my only problem is I can't get the volume and the skip rewind buttons on the front of it to work. Do I need special drivers or what for this maybe some special software? I cant contact support because you need to be registered and my friend is gone and I can't get his password anyone with any info would be sweet, thanks guys.

It could be some software for the buttons. See if your friend has the restore and recover disk for it.

Lippsman · Answer

You can get them from Dell, which owns Alienware. Just call and say you lost them. It will cost $30 or $40 bucks.

Custom Building your own computer is much cheaper with similar performance.

Alienware is the Nike of computers, paying for the name!
