6-3-07 Deal of the Day, Lenovo 3000 laptop $479.99

Just forwarded this to a buddy about 30 mins ago....................sold out between the time I read this post & when he got the link.

Said buddy called over to BB (they just opened).................they have one left.........he's headed over to snag it.

Thanks Lippsman..............he's been in the market for a laptop for a while now & this looks like a great deal.

On the verge of a bestbuysux story. Buddy shows up at the nearest store & they are now sold out. Dude says they had 6 but sold them all. He checks around & another store about 10 miles away has 2 left. They won't hold them so he beats feet to the store only to be told that the ad was a mistake (sold out?) & he can't have it for $479. He talks to the store manager & the guy agrees to sell it for the ad price.
I advised him of the Toshiba deal as well..........but he got what he was after so all is good.

Wish I would have been fast enough to get one of these
