My Bettting Manifesto - long winded theory on sportsgambling.....

hey van was thinking of a way to get reduced lines instead of reduced juice using in game betting......would betting half a unit on the game line then another half on the second half line if it meets or beats your pregame line.....for example i take toronto +5 tonight for the game for half a unit.....at halftime their down 3.... the second half line is right at +2 making it still +5 for the game....as long as it's -105 still i play the 2nd half of my unit on it......hypothetical example lets say they gave me +4 for the 2nd half making it +7 for the game.....i have my original play of +5 for half a unit and +7 for half a unit....it's like i bought points and didn't pay for it.  i know the cons of it working against me when the line works out against my favor.....for instance if they made toronto only +1 for the 2H but then i don't take the 2nd half unit bet.....just curious into whether you think this is something i should look into.....

i just wanted to ask if one was to try to reduce juice they would need to shop around for the best line and the best price right? wouldn't that mean that their bankroll would either have to be fairly large since they would have multiple accounts on multiple books, or if not large at least their bankroll would be spread out?

no, just have a % of your bankroll with one book, % with another an so forth. 

Obviously, the more you use a book the greater the % you have with them
