thanx for your inspiring thread. I'm betting selected away dogs with kind of success but I like your system...so many times I've pushed my luck too far and lost units won in game 1 or 2 of a serie!
To be honest, I can't tail you because I'm sleeping while you're posting your bets on twitter (yeah, I'm french...)
But i will post here sometimes to discuss our picks, if it's not a problem to you. I'm still learning baseball betting so I don't want to open my own thread on a US Forum (have one on french forum but nobody cares about baseball and MLB, with all these games at 2AM...)

@funding when a team has a green cash bag that means that the team has won and the series is closed! this means these teams will not be played again. teams w/o the cash bag mean that these are plays!
@dimegoat hey, man! i'm pumped to hear that you're finding success from this! what do you mean by pushing your luck too far? what's your system? just curious! also yeah for sure, feel free to discuss on here and/or ask if you want the system's opinion on plays you're looking at! i'll try to be on here as much as i can!

In fact, I'm a newcomer in MLB betting so I tried a lot of strategies for weeks with fake money. Then, I tried to analyze games and bet real money but it took soooo much time (which I have not).
Then, in June, I tried with real money, betting on ALL away dogs to get nice odds and cover losses. But it was not so smart because of teams like Orioles or Tigers with very high odds but very low victory rates. After that, within few days, being more selective, I made 6u of profits (with Rockies, Braves and such).
The more I play, the less it pay: that's the idea of pushing luck too far. I win gm 1 and 2 of a serie and then lose 3 and 4...it happens so many times, losing money you've just won. When you sweep, it's gold (like the Reds vs Dodgers) but it's rare.
So I think your way of betting is quite smart, not too greedy. So I'm trying it with my own bets (can't see yours at the right time... it's 1AM right now and I'm awake, which is very rare...)
Won with the Cards yesterday. I nearly bet Braves and Red Sox but I've been, maybe, too cautious. Nevermind...

@dimegoat your first two points; i did the EXACT same. For 3+ years I have tracked pretend bets through systems to determine whether or not I would find success before I go ahead and risk my money. I have been determined to work until I break through and find a system that brings reliable, consistent positive results; something extremely hard to find in our sports betting world.
that's interesting that you tried to bet in favor of sweeps. have you ever visited & read this information? https://mlbsweeps.com/statistics/ <-- this right here is what became the magical light bulb in my head, making me realize i need to create a system that takes advantage of how difficult it truly is to sweep a series.

Yep I know this mlbsweeps... sure it's difficult to sweep a serie but 25% for 3gm series is quite a high number. And this 2018 season is hard for anti-sweep (20% for 4gm so far!). Ideally I'd like to cover ALL losses but it's definitely risky.
And I was thinking about playing only 4gm series. I don't know...
Too bad I can't compare my picks with yours before games are played, but it's very inspiring to study our different point of views.
I'm also looking for a NHL system involving dogs...stats are nice, better than NBA in my opinion, but I got to find a good pattern
