Using a "sharp book" vs "public book"

Question

I was wondering if any of you have ever compared odds before to understand an edge.

There may be a book that you consider sharp... it takes large wagers from professional players, and therefor their odds should be better tuned. That book in my mind is Bookmaker.

It is hard to find a weak line anywhere.

If you have any thoughts on this, please chime in.

ive tried this numerous times w/ many books. Always did well when I was testing it but then when it came to wager on the plays, I lost........I primarily looked at Pinnacle and compared their lines to some square books.
