Nice win last night. I looked up the score on my Blackberry and it was 2-2 in the second. I knew the system had come through!

REMINDER: NJ-NYI game is at 2PM ET.

I was curious how many units the system is up with the record of 160-11.  With the high juice on some nhl total plays i figure about 11 units lost per series so that would put with juice the system at 160-121 for about 39 units.

What do you consider high juice? There were two wins last week that were actually at + money.

The units doesn't matter if you have a money management scheme in place.  If you martingale it, you should have on average of 8.8 or so units per system loss.  However, many people choose to labby this system, and therefore are up many more units.  Also, there is no definitive units due to the fluctuation of the price of the play.  Some lines are -135 others are +12, so in the end it probably balances out.  Proper management of the money is key.

Let me rephrase... units DO matter, but the money management aspect of this is what minimizes those losses.

Damn, what a rough night!    Noone playing defense especially in those second periods.  Gee, 2P overs in all games the past seven days are now 38-14 to the OVER.

Have you see that many games in the over column lattely... what do you think about that is something that happend by this period of the season or just that nobody is playing defense?

don't usually follow the nhl that closely, at least not for gambleing purposes. is it possible that they are squeezing in games because of the olympics and therefore there are more back to backs, more tired legs and more backup goalies or did they just make the season two weeks longer?

   I am not tailing this system but if I was these B's and C's would make me nervous...a bad night tonight makes Saturday night pretty important.  BOL guys!! 

Money, tough to say why.  I see a lot of games lately flying over the total and I do not understand why the totals are not higher to begin with.  Lots of the 6.0 games were going under around this time last year.  Starting to see a bunch of that now.  I think just a matter of tired legs.  No defense in the 2nd usually leads to the game flying over.  I think if the scores are low after 2P, the 3rd usually is a defensive one as well. 

B and C games always make me nervous.  When there are a bunch of them, that's where the rubber meets the road.  A games have done well so far this year.  It's just a matter of gutting it out and continuing to play, use proper MM, and have a good attitude. 

Hoping these unders hit and no OT games.  At least clear the board for a day or so.

Sheesh cannot cut a break here!    Some tense times for sure.  We did get one series win if that is any consolation on that dreaded C bet... Three rollovers, a double bet on LA coming up and 3 additional series chases.  Nerve city coming up.  I cannot imagine the next round of bets being any better than having a freakin' root canal.

moneylog, I don't.  What I suggest is go through each team in the NHL - use the Covers site.  Search for all home OT games for each team, and then take the over/under of the next three games.....

If you got it at 6 shouldn't you have played the over?

Airmail, if the line was originally 5.5 and you bought a point to 6.0, you would play the under.  If you happened to get the line at 6.0, because of movement, then yes, you would play the over.  But the line was not 6.0 everywhere, yet all indications were that the line would jump up since under 5.5 was at plus money.

Of course another 0-2 day.    A series loss for sure with Dallas.
