It seems everyone on the Rx thread is bashing because of that Golden State 3Q loss. At first I thought it was take the biggest road favorite and play this system, and I still believe that. I was a little skeptical that the play was on the home team last night. Now I see why.

The Warriors play made no sense and we noticed it last night.
I am not sure why he was on it?
And yeah, it's amazing how quick a crowd can turn on you.
Maybe, we should track the biggest road favorite separately in another thread to see how it does?
Yeah that sounds like a good idea. I have been following you guys and I feel this system has the potential to make massive amounts of money if we can just figure out how to pick the plays. And with some of covers heavy hitters already on it, I believe its only a matter of time.

I've back tested this system and have checked using different filters. This system comes out 68%- 85% depending on the criteria you use. 68% Home Faves, 74% Away Faves, 85% Home dogs. As I was back testing I would look at a play that didn't hit and then determine why it didn't hit. Then I put that down as a fade if it happened more often than not.
I've made a manual spread sheet to be able to see trends with each
teams. One of the fade plays I saw would be Boston if they are favored
by double digits. I also saw that home teams favored by 1-2 points are
a fade. Another fade trend was AF giving 4-4.5 points. Also, Home
Faves getting more than 7.5+ points as a game spread is a fade. All
this data was from last years season. I only backtested from October
08- January 09- There is ALOT of data.
One of the great things about the system is it is hitting at a high rate. Usually, it'll hit on the 1Q or the 3Q but seldom will it hit both. Great way to play the other side if you miss playing the 1Q.
The problem is when you don't hit your 3Q bet. Then you're down 3 units + juice. If I can see trends as to which team doesn't hit at least one time, they would be a fade play.
For plays today I hit: Toronto 1Q New York 3Q Sacramento 3Q Memphis 1Q
Which also happens to be every game I played!
If you look at each game, Toronto hit in the 1Q but not in the 3Q.
New York lost in 1Q but hit 3Q.
Sacramento lost 1Q but hit 3Q.
Memphis hit 1Q and chances are they will not hit 3Q- so a good bet would be LAC 3Q. But LAC did lose both 1Q and 3Q as Home faves earlier this season. That's why I went with Memphis instead of LAC as a play>> both would be a play with my criteria. That's why I'm trending the games so I can get a better feel for who to pick.

Kevin, So far this year the home teams are . It doesn't matter if they are faves or dogs. Check out my thread "Hard8's Hot Nba Trends". I've listed the parameters of what I consider a play. This won't get 100%, but it should hit high 80's. Of course, this is all a work in progress, but if we can limit the amount of losses then we can make some .
Get back to me if you have any suggestions.
Aloha
