Trying a different version of my Parlay System....to see if it by chance it will win more often than my current one. I cant backtest because i need to know the ATS stats and over/under records every two weeks throughout the season which i have not been able to find without recording it game by game myself.
System goes as follows
1.) Testing two groups of three teams.
2.) created those groups by picking the teams that had the most unders or overs or wins ATS or Losses ATS in the NBA as of December 5th, 2010
3.) theory is bookies will cap better on those teams to even the records out.
4.) Will review my two groups every 2 weeks and drop teams that no longer have major differences in thier records and add new ones.
5.) In my groups if team #1 in the group and #2 are both playing they are parlayed together with thier under or over. If one is not playing then #3 is parlayed with the team that is playing.
6.) Teams from different groups do not cross over to play eachother.
7.) When selecting teams......I go by betting the opposite of thier major difference in stats.
Going to show a few examples of how teams were selected on Dec 5th.
Milwakee is 6-12-1 ATS and 8ov-11un
So Milwakee would be selected to a group because they have a bad ATS record and i will start betting them to cover over the next two weeks in hopes the record evens out and with thier Over/Under we will bet them as a Under team because it is more common to this point but not out of control.
Hope that makes sense....will give one more example.
Indiana Pacers 10-8 ATS and 5ov -13un
So we would select Indiana because of thier big difference in Over and Unders...We will start betting them over in thier games in hopes record evens out. We will bet them to cover ATS because it is more common but not out of control.
So that is it ....I will not actually be betting real money because it contridicts my current system im am doing this month....I dont know if this works so i wouldnt jump on this system until we see how well it works....I will be pretending to start with a $5000 bankroll and making all parlay bets at $100.....Here is my groups for Dec 5th until Dec 19th...
Group A.) 1.)Ny Knicks Lose/Under
2.) Indiana Pacers Win/Over
3.) Milwakee Win/Under
Group B.) 1.) New Orleans Win/Over
2.) Oklahoma Lose/Under
3.) Sacramento Win/Under
