First of all, great work and thanks for sharing!  I had a couple questions about the information you provided.  Are these records for ONLY this year?  Because the NFL record of 28-0 confused me seeing as that seemed a bit high.

Also, do you have a breakdown of game A winners, B winners, C winners, etc.??  If you can help clarify, that would be great!

Again, your work is much appreciated!

Good job man, must have taken alot of time to research. People don't realize how long it takes to back test systems. 


Are you using closing lines for grading your plays? 
From where? SBR?

Just checked the spreadsheets out, thanks for posting. All documented so no one cant say anything, the bottom line the system turns a profit. Profit is the KEY word, BOL to all, keep cashing fellas.

Actually it was a game C Winner with Reds because the closing line had Reds as the Dog

This brings up a good question. What happens when one team is favored on the moneyline, like today with the Pirates at -110 while Cincinnati was +100.....but the runline was Pit +1.5 and Cincy was favored? Do you take the team that is the underdog according to the moneyline even though they are getting much worse odds on the Runline because of the odds difference?? I actually paid attention to this because I always root for you guys in this thread, but had no idea who you all were taking. Anyway, it ended up not mattering this time since it ended up a one run game. But how do some of you play that? Good job today and good luck.

The play is to play the ML dog +1.5.
It is possible to get alternate lines which means you can get dogs -1.5 and favs +1.5?

Cincy opened as a -120 fav last night and  the line didn't flip until 11:40 this morning. I never wait until the last minute and have never lost taking the RL dog in the morning. Glad we both won

I'm with Collect, I play before I go to work.  That said, since the play is to be +1.5, I really don't pay attention to the ML, unless I plan on also playing the ML or O/U.  
I plan my bets before I go online.  I have a spreadsheet that pulls the opening and current odds from the web. I don't refresh the current bets, so if it changed from when I was handicapping to when I placed the bets, I don't notice or pay much attention.

Yes Buckeye but as Bart stated, the play is to take the ML dog at +1.5. And I am pretty certain JeffTheHat has said it has to be the closing line. So you don't take the team that the book just says is the RL dog, you actually are supposed to pay attention to the ML and play that dog on the Run Line...if Bart is correct. Anyway, I like seeing this win for some of you guys. Here's to more winners for you in the future.

Another winner last night with the mets on the D game. One rainout added to the drama,so it seemed like forever until it hit. Most of this system has hit on the A or B game. Looking forward to Jeffs other system,but i'm fine riding this one all the way too   A lot of rainouts tonight.....let's go Milw +1.5

So I have another question, sorry if this seems obvious to everyone else, but that's what these forums are for right? helping each other out.

My question is in regards to the first game in rotation on SBR.  From reading through the whole thread I have obtained that this system is playing the NL, but some are also choosing to pay the AL too. 

1) Will the first game listed on SBR always be the NL? 

2) Does that mean a game played in NL stadium or game between two NL teams?

3)And if playing the AL is it the first game listed with both teams AL or just a game in an AL stadium?

Are you for frikkin real???  Good on you for formulating a useful spreadsheet for forum users to track Hat's system.  However, how much of a douche do you have to be to CHARGE people money for a "paid version" of the spreadsheet to which ALL the credit should go towards JeffTheHat in the first place?  WoW!!  Simply WOW !!!
