also think there might be a way to filter using the last 10 games instead of bottom 3 teams but gotta back check it.

and looked into the chase and if we were to do a chase it would only be A and B because after that a team would be on a streak again, and from what ive seen the chase would not be 100% successful but could add a few more wins in the long run, but i will post more info on this when i know.

sorry late to get to a computer today but im a quarter way through looking at how the last 10 filter would help this system and so far it would be 7-1 ( with a chase 8-0).

this way also had two losses but they were before 10 games were played by all teams so in coming years might have to be cafeful, both teams were top 2 but im trying to see if we can just use the last 10 instead of what i have set up now.

in the meantime til i have completely back checked i am still gonna use the last 10 as a filter, with already seeing today WAS who ended their streak beating MTL ( MTL last 10 4-5-1).

NAS also ended a streak but CLB is under .500 in their last 10 (4-5-1) so they will not be a play either.

so to put it all together

so far ive backchecked 19 unfiltered plays,

with no filter: 11-8

with last 10 filter: 7-1 ( 8-0 with one game chase )

here are the final numbers for the last 10 filter

for this filter the team that is playing against the team that ended their streak must have a record above .500 to be a play.

with no filter: 46-33

with last 10 filter: 23 A game wins, 10 one game chase wins, 2 losses A+B games.

still not satified with the losses so im seeing if using the streak team last 10 can eliminate the losses, it will also take out some of the wins but i want perfection.

alright so with back checking the streak team last 10 filtering, i found that if teams have 1 or less regulation losses we will not bet against them, i also believe that using the last 10 filter on the team that is playing the team that ended their streak the other filters are not needed, the only one that maybe have to be used is the back to back filter, but in the back checking it was not an issue.

so heres what the plays would be using new filters

TOR (6-4) ( NYI (5-5) ended streak )

NAS (8-2) ( CHI (5-3-2) ended streak )

PIT will not be a play against STL as STL is 8-1-1 in last 10

also these plays are the first trial will new filter so be careful if you trail them, and keep in mind their is a AB chase with this system now.

I'm hesitant to play on today's pick due to the fact that we're coming off of the All-Star break. Don't you think the break would help these teams "forget" their recent loss?

its hard to say, det loss was brutal, and they are not the same team on the road.
