Streak Strategies

just to put the information in one post for you and anyone else.

System: teams that have a three or more game winning streak and then lose one game will lose the next game.


The Four Filters:

Filter A: do not bet against top 5 teams (points not rank) in each conference when home

Filter B:do not bet on bottom 5 teams in each conference when on road.

Filter C:do not bet if non streak ending team is playing second game of a back to back

Filter D: do not bet if non streak losing team is starting backup goalie ( backup is considered 25% or less starts ), if both teams starting backups play will not be filtered.

Filter B: do not bet on bottom THREE teams in each conference on road (post #6)

Filter D: do not bet against top two teams (points not rank), in either conference home or away. (post #22)

im gonna be on holidays from jan 10th to jan 19th so if you want to take over during that time up to you otherwise ill just catch up when im back.

correct me if I am wrong .. This system is 35 -12 with the filters you have in place this year ??  And do you chase A/B/C of just play the next game after the streak is over and the team losses their next game??  thanks

Knoxpoker yes the system is 35-12 and there is no chase just a single play

Knoxpoker to correct myself the record is 37-12 now, but the back testing was only done with the first two filters so the record could be even better with all filters.

Since ive been posting with the filters added the record is 8-0.

Looks like a lot of people are going with WPG today. I just found your thread and I'm going to try out your strategy. Thanks and BOL to us all!

well we were on a good streak, after this loss im going to go back and see if teams that lose in a SO have a different outcome than teams that lose in regulation or OT.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong (I probably am) but would playing against Anaheim be a system bet for tonight? They lost their last game ending their streak...

wow EDM not showing up

might have to change to dont bet bottom 3 home or away but more info is needed, because i know that doing that would eliminate an early season win when columbas defeated detroit at home.

also for tomorrows plays with TOR losing tonight their streak ended so that makes NYR a play as they are top 2.

so with filters plays: BUF (NYI ended streak), NYR (TOR ended streak)
