hey novato,

i had the chance to check out your blog that demonstrates the labouchere approach. good job on the nba, coming out with a profit.

 

I am currently testing it out, and it does keep your bankroll intact without much exposure. However, its tough when there are chases out there, say it has a individual game record of 5-3, and using martingale you would be up 5 units....whereas with the labouchere you would be up only 1 unit.

 

Also, I notice how on your blog you upped your units for the lines quite frequently. If you didn't up your lines at all, do you think you would've made less or about the same.

The reason i ask is, yes when you get on a hot streak, upping your units will maximize profit, but if you happen to have a losing streak when u just increased your units for your line, it will certainly backfire.

I also remember psic in his older threads would advise to do the same, increasing your lines after X amount cleared.

 

I know using labouchere it is mainly about the money and not so much the units won so it hard to compare the two systems as they have their own pros and cons...but from your or anyone else's experience, is upping the units worth it in the long run or will it all even out over the course of the season?

So please continue your posting in the appropriate threads. For your sake I am not hoping for a system loss for you will be hammered if it should happen. A little clue, it will happen. Since you are a rookie, I hope your emotions don't get in the way and you lose your bank. Can it happen on a single series if you get greedy and feel invinceable? Your damn right it can! I realize that the TOPIC of this thread is PSIC (MLB) off to a good start

but

if you notice that MarlonB who started this thread stated in his 1st post that he wanted someone to post JOHN MORRISONs plays as well so that they can compare the two and if you continue to read on the 1st page of this thread there are others talking about this as well

so that is why I have been posting JMs SYSTEMS WINS

now I dont know about years past but there seems to be alot of confussion as to how many wins/losses JM has had...........

and the main reason why I get so excited about the wins is not only of course the $$$$$$$$$$$ but before I purchased the Morrison system I read good and bad things about him and his system I finally spoke to someone 1 on 1 about it and he said Morrison has absolutely made him plenty of $$$$$$$$$$

so I chose to follow and SO FAR SO GOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your reply. Just curious what are the numbers? Can you break them down into version one and version two? I do play some of those plays as well. I use several systems selecting only a few plays a day, somedays no bets at all.

Not sure what you mean by v1 or v2 cause all I have is just his system plays which I bought at the begining of the year NBA SEASON

now he does send me emails stating that theres a play that fits the system but the RPI is to different to risk

if thats what you are talking about

when he sends me those possible plays I do a lil research and most of the time place a wager 1/2 of what I would normally...........

About winning systems; You will get about 40 or so plays this year using system v2. Lets say you lose 1, you practically wiped out a major portion of your winnings. The system is a good one, however, there are simply not enough plays in a season to turn a major profit. If you go without a loss then you are up a little. Money mangement is the key to securing your bankroll. Be careful and I hope you use another system to go along with JM. I do not believe that Marlon B is a hater. He just has had the experience of this system failing him. He was just curious as to what the numbers were going to be this season, not having a carnival each time the system won. I understand your motivation in bringing back JM name, however I think that you are barking up the wrong tree in this thread. Most of the posters in here know and use some version of the system or have in the past. They, first hand, have experienced the system and most notable been burned by it. The numbers that JM are fabricated. Now if you mange your money with say a modified Labourchere then the system is fine. Good luck in your pursuit of clearing JM name.

That's not true Tan.

The reason it's not true is because I play every "sweep chase" if it qualifies.  So if I wanted you to lose then I would be rooting against myself.  Doesn't make much sense, does it?
