Seems like $2250 or there abouts is a sticking point.  Once you get there it falls apart.  Likely lost close to $1000 getting to the high, losing, back to the high and losing all over again.  Maybe you should cash out those winnings like $500 go down to $1500 reduce your wager size and when you get to $2000 again repeat.

Otherwise it will be alot of up and down, and you will need one long streak of dog wins to breakthru and test new highs....  Might not be even possible to make it to $100,000  But if you cash out along the way, you will at least make some $$$$

many of you have never traded stocks or had trading accounts.. if you had, you would know that you do not go UP in a straight line, it would be nice if you did,,,,, but you dont..

Adversity has definately fell upon us in the last 3 days.... A (1-10) record doesnt sit well with anyone.. I cant come in here and give a Pep talk... We are playing selections generated from a Computer Program... there is absoultely nothing that i can do... When i am faced with adversity, i like to handle it by simplifying things... that is what ill be doing today...

I am 100% committed to this Program and lets take an honest look at this Program for a moment...

We started with a $1000 Investment on sept 5...... Today that investment sits at $1846... an increase of 84.6% in 93 days... Does that not sound good?

Lets look at the sports individually for a moment..

MLB: 75-75 (a very promising start, in what i consider the most difficult time of the season)... a .500 record would make us alot of money over the course of a season.. see you Opening Day...

NHL: 79-87 (we have definately slipped here.. i cannot explain it but i will say, i definately believe in the NHL selections).. i actually think this  is simply a small downturn and we will soon get back to .500 or very close... we are still positive for the season and i see no reason to change anything.. i look for a good run in the NHL very soon.

NBA: 33-36 (i am actually very surprised and very pleased with the nba).. the lines are always very good and many of you know that we struggled with the nba at the beginning of the season. we did not play all the games.. if we had, our record would be 47-45 and if we played 1 unit on each game, we would be up (+25.15 units).. this is probably better than almost anything out there.

FB: 15-24 (as many of you know, we played football for a few weeks and then pulled the plug)... not much else needs to be said. it will not be rejoining the Program this season..

thats really about all i have to say... I have put too much time and real money into this, to be swayed by the last few days.. i do think its time for many of you to make a decision on whether your going to follow this Program or not... I am 100% committed to it and will remain that way until we do not meet the monthly goals..

Football didnt work, baseball did very good, the nba is doing better than i expected,,, we are running a little behind in the nhl.. i think this is a fair assessment of what has went on with the Program..

sorry for rambling and i do understand the concerns but people we are still over a month ahead. we are due another UP turn...

ill be back soon, with the update and plays for tuesday dec 7

keepin the faith here....hell I've gone 1-10 before woopdee doo, I will rally back, actually pretty confident, there will be some golden parlay opportunities I throw into the mix along with just the standard plays, which I know will make it up rather quickly, all it takes is one nice three teamer and you make up for 0-6 in a hurry, just gotta pick my spots for that situation

great work on the thread keep it up....I'm going to grind it out with ya still at a profit so far so good.....

I will continue to follow every pick and play them also...

If I don't follow 100% then his(any) computer program picks will not be a real system, A real system needs to be followed faithfully for the duration unless it has not been successfull or is not viable.    this one is making money and I believe, will be close to a 50% win rate over time...

Just to let everyone know, I started a thread today for my "XLR8's NBA O/U system" today is my day 1.

63% percent last year, 64% so far this year. Check my NBA O/U record.

I am #1 so far this year on NBA O/U on this site.

Thinker inspired me and I gave him credit on my thread....

Sorry for the cheap publicity attempt, Thinker. I Won't do it again.

    Beginning balance on sept 5 2010: $1000

    Current balance on dec 7 2010: $1846

    Computer Program Plays: 202-222 (+$846)

    plays for tuesday dec 7

    425. buffalo (+1.30) $45 to win $59

    426. TB (+1.10) $45 to win $50

    427. anaheim (+1.05) $45 to win $47

If you play the sports betting game for any substantial length of time, you will find that long losing streaks are part of the landscape.  If you accept this as part of the whole package going in, it is a much lower hurdle to clear.  No, this system's last few days performance has not been fun, and for me most of my OTHER systems I use (14 at the present time) AND games that I cap have also been losing for the last 3 weeks straight.  But I know through experience that things will turn around for most of my systems, and for those that keep losing, I will re-evaluate and either tweak the system or not use it anymore.  The one thing I have done differently than Falcon is lower my wagers a bit.  For Falcon's system plays I lowered my wagers to $35 from $45 until things start to turn around and then I will play catch-up until my wagers match.  My point is, don't give up yet, it's only the beginning of a long trip.  Adjust if you need to, maybe even take a week or two off and jump back in, but give this system a long look before you dump it......

Hopefully the 1-10 last few days will "weed out" the tailers that keep bitching every time there's a losing steak

For me personally, I'm on board until we miss one of our goals at the beginning of every month.

The tides will turn....hang in there.  Even if we miss a monthly goal there's no reason to throw in the towel.  We'll have month's that we overachieve and month's that we underachieve but in the end we'll be up 100K!

    keep it up thinker!

Why is it that losing streaks suck more than winning streaks rock? It should be equal; losing a dollar should suck as much as winning a dollar rocks... but it isn't so and you can tell by how many  people drop by on a shitty day compared to how many drop by on a good day.

    Keep grinding.

It's annoying coming in here and reading people bashing a system that has won them money for months now. Even with this losing streak, you are up plus money and that's all we wont. If you are angry over this then stop following and thank thinker for the profits he made you.
Thanks for your system and i will continue to follow.

    Oh by the way

I've said this before and I'll say it again.  We've emphasized proper money management in this thread, and I think it's just as important as the picks themselves to wager correctly.

Although I agree that the money management in this thread is very good so far,  I do not agree with keeping our base wagers at $45 once we fall below the threshold that we set in the beginning.  For example:

At the beginning of this thread, we stated that for every $250 made, we would increase our base wagers another $5.  Although this is smart and there's nothing wrong with it, what happens when you fall down $250?  You keep your base wagers at the increased $5 mark?  I don't think this is wise.  Here's why:

Lets say we get to the point where we're wagering $100 (and I do believe we will) per game.  At that point, we should be up roughly $3000.  Let's say we have another shitty 1-10 run, or even worse, 5-20.  Suddenly, our $3000 profit has dwindled down to just $1500.  But without lowering your wagers, you would still be betting $100 per game and only have $1500 profit to play with.  This is not smart.  Period.

I understand the term "aggressive wagering", but there is also something called "stupid wagering".  I'm not trying to offend anyone, but by not lowering your wagers, you are essentially going against the proper money management that we've stressed in this thread from the beginning, and this system will ultimately fail.  Guaranteed.
Be smart and lower your wagers.  It's the only way to prevent a fatal collapse.

Exactly why I use percentages instead of static wager amounts...

But to each his own! The only thing that really matters is that it makes money which this system has clearly done.

    I also like percentages tbqh

And yes the system has done well so far, but with keeping the base wager at it's highest amount after such a losing streak is going to be this system's demise.

You've made me a ton of money this year dj so as much as I think you're a dick as far as personality goes, you're still high on my list

Take a step back and compare your rant, ncsutodd, compared to HECTAR's obviously stupid comparison between bankroll and wins/losses.

To me, you're the one that looks much more like a "fucking bonehead" than HECTAR.  Rants like that mean you need anger management and almost certainly shouldn't be gambling

conversations like this, i like.. i dont mind commenting at all..

I would interject once again... This is merely a Project Bankroll...

Overall Bankroll, i 100% agree with lowering the wagers... im playing 1% on each play and adjusting daily...

the Project Bankroll, im treating a little differently... that is all..

snappa: yes, we should consider the long term... i wont be taking any days off from this thread.. i dont believe a computer program should be treated that way..

    good day fellas..

I control my wagers by percentages.....as my bank roll goes up, so does my wagers and vice versa to the contrary.
