So Heartbreaking tonight Like BW said ....all three parlays lost by one dam game!! Only needed 3 more pts on the Oklahoma game and we were cashing in!!.....Well my other Parlay system cashed tonight which is a bonus....its just to bad thats not where my money was.  Well better luck tommorow!!

dj, that's my point. The parlays would be correlated. Say for example that San Antonio, when they cover the spread and "impose their will" on their opponent the games have a tendency to go over the total. You bet San Antonio always coupled with the over. If we can get that parlay to hit at a 30% rate rather than the random 25% rate we will make a lot of money. This equates to the favorite/over situation in college football (which hit at an almost 40% rate this year and was obscenely profitable.) We just need to figure out the correlations that are going to work. With the NBA we can use previous year's data because there is a large of amount of continuity from one year to the next. In college bb now that we have some of this season's results to work with we can figure out which teams we should always be playing with their appropriate correlations.

On brady's games tonight we would have hit 3 parlays and lost the other 3. Betting $100 per parlay would have netted out +$480.

Just some concerns that i find creep back into it...I dont have much time but here they are

1.) You will end up betting that team everytime they play...which in result you can catch those dead awful runs...

2.) Having 4 bet parlay's you increase the odds high enough that it can cover your losses....with two games you dont profit a high enough amount to cover the cold runs

3.) Maybe what you are talking about would work to cover some of the $100 wagers.  Like insurance?

Check out my other parlay system i am tracking.....it might be a better one but need to continue to test for a while before i am willing to put my money on it....It is called (testing Parlay system)....so far it hit a big one night.....on only the second night

Hey Tom thanx for the add, wanted to know if you pick CBB.  I've been running pretty well in that and I do parlay's like you, so we could swap picks and really make some .  I also do NBA, NFL, CFB and MLB.  Let me know dude.

Two completly different systems my friend...The other system named (Testing Parlay sytem) is exactly that....A different system being tested....I am not actually betting on that system.....It is all stated in post #1

I have been tracking a correlated NBA system (one side parlay/100:260) since 11/2.  This parlay is currently hitting at 34.94% or +$3240.00 (100:260).  No handicapping involved. However, I have yet to do back testing on it.

If Pinny allows the parlay, it's not correlated.

I tried working the "40%" system from college football using 4% as a number for NBA and 10% for college bball... but it's not profitable enough since you have to bet both the fav + over and the dog + under. If we had a way to isolate either the fav + over or the dog + under then it could be legit. I was thinking of maybe using XLR8's totals and adding in the fav or dog respectively but he hasn't shown success yet.

Parlaying is not a smart way to make money guys! Just remember that.

I've been trying to do just that, isolate one or the other for bball. Just using the "40% type system" won't work in basketball at any percentage of spread to the total due to the unique nature of scoring in football that doesn't exist in basketball. We have to determine how different teams "impose their will" on opponents when they cover the spreads. Not an easy task and probably impossible to determine. To quote another poster in a PM... "that blows".
