Opening Lines Or Wait Until Game Time?

I'm playing a situational baseball system this season which will mostly be made of favorites. I want to get the most out of each bet obviously so my question is... is it better to bet the games the night before when the lines open if you know which games are gonna be in the system or is it better to wait until game time to make the bets?

Tough question I know and maybe there is no right or wrong answer but I appreciate any and all input. Thanks!

Baseball, like hockey is a ML sport, balance is contained throughout the day with little if any change from the opening ML , waiting could save you a very small amount, if any. football, and basketball, it's advisable to place your wager at the last possible time of line movement (10 minutes before game time, or less) getting that half point, which is major when betting the pointspread.

Thanks, Sports Network. That's what I suspected. However I have seen significant changes from the starting line to closing line when there's an ace on the mound such as a Verlander but maybe i'm just noticing those as they are games with big names on the mound. On the flip side I can remember a few games where Buccholz was dominating and the line went in the opposite direction and he actually won as a tiny favorite after opening as a big one.
