I am new to betting baseball and sportsbetting as a whole but I have been watching baseball my whole life. I would like to get on your chase system. can you explain to me exactly what you bet as im confused. From what I understand you will bet the first game of a series that the favorite is favored by -150 or more, so lets say you do that to win 1U by risking 1.5 if you lose then you would bet the second game double to make your money back? please explain or someone who knows the system well as i would like to try it
THANKS

I would really recommend following the money management I have illustrated in the thread which people call a 3 line aggressive labouchere system. If we are making a game one play at -150 I would wager enough to win the outside 2 numbers in our first line (5+5), so we would play 15 to win 10. Play the game 2 wagers on the outside two numbers on the second line, etc. I update the lines after each day of plays. If you want to play a smaller or larger amount multiply your wager appropriately.
Plays are generated by a line that opens at -145 or higher, or closes above -150. We have found a subset of plays (those that open with a over/under of 9 or higher) that win the series at a little higher percentage, especially when the team is at home.
I would recommend not playing any more than 1% of your bankroll for the game 1 bets and you may want to consider 0.5%. The system generates a lot of plays and should we go on a skid you need to have enough left in your roll to recoup your losses from the labby lines.

1) HoseyBest, I don't mean to sound rude, but I just finished reading all 29 pages and have no questions
2) Big props to therizz for always being there to provide answers to all questions
3) What do you think about the idea of adding another (yes, another) labby with double the units for those games that qualify under the filter (O/U 9 runs)
4) This thread/system has got me really interested in gettin on a sportsbook because I find this to be a great investment opportunity. But what would you recommend the unit size be? 1% of the bankroll? I'm just worried, because there are cases when the labby can get make Game2's worth 5U a game, and sometimes there are 3-4 Game2's! That's a lot of units to throw around!
Discussed bankrolls in the previous post and agree with your idea to be conservative. As far as the labby, lines I think I will leave them as they are if for nothing else to keep a good tally for this system for the year. That being said, I don't think it would be a bad idea to play it the way you mentioned but obviously a loss would sting more that way. If you notice I have been fairly conservative with the lines. Generally what I do is increase my play by 10% as my bankroll goes up 10% but have not been doing so to keep a consistent tally for the year. If we were actually doing this our units would be higher and I will likely play it this way next year if we end this season with a good result.

That makes one of us! I definitely don't have that kind of roll . Remember these numbers are based on ML plays only which is what I have been doing for the vast majority of the plays since I see the lines pay us back that way. If you are not familiar with labouchere money management, I would just follow my lines and multiply the play you want to make by whatever factor your play is compared to $10 which is what are used for the lines I am using. If you have specific question about the money management and setting up your lines feel free to send me a PM and I can explain it in more detail.

Jake, I honestly don't think I am going to have time to do this as my work schedule is pretty crazy again. I have a spreadsheet with all the plays and lines on it, if you want to run this PM me with your email and I can send it to you

It is still early so watch the lines. These all qualify by opening above -145, but have to have a closing o/u of 9 or higher. If any of these end 9 or higher they become system plays.

Hey Rizz, I'm trying to backtrack some stats from the past few seasons and all I'm really looking for are the opening ML and RL for the past few seasons.
Do you by any chance have some databases you can send my way with that info? Or a website that can do the job as well?
This Systems and Strategies section is really making me want to contribute to the group......thanks in advance

I have a database that includes the opening ML odds for 2003-9. I will email it to you if you PM me your regular email address. The database does not have RL odds however.

So there are those three plays for tonight? Also do we play the RL on the NYY game right?
Best
HB, all the records are kept based off of ML plays. Obviously playing RL increases a risk of losing the series but also decreases your odds. You may want to consider playing -1 which will limit your odds and give you a push if they win by one.

looks like you've got a solid system going here. I may have to jump on this train. Thanks for all the hard work.
A lot of season left, hopefully we keep on rolling! Reds cruise tonight. The line movement I saw earlier in the day closed higher... whatever that means....
