For Tuesday we have the two B games with Boston and STL.

Pitt does not qualify.

Record: 27-1

A: 21-9

B: 5-2 (STL, Bos pending)

C: 1-1

 

Boston again

Tuesday results:

STL wins on B game

Boston loses on B game. C game on Wednesday. Buchholtz vs Santiago. Sale got pushed back. On a side note, I hate Boston.

Boston was the systems only loss so far, weren't they?  If they lose tomorrow, I say let's filter them out of the system for good.

I think Boston is dangerous tomorrow, I hate betting on a team that has a pitcher who hasn't lost a game yet when it gets to 6 or more and it's on the road and it's against a team that's winning and has a good pitcher going also!  Good luck on this play 

I'm not sure how I'm going to bet this. I may take a conservative approach and do what B2W suggested in his rules - make a bet equal to the A game bet. I guess I'll wait to see the lineups.

Is there a bug in how it is copying values from the RPI sheet into the MLB history sheet?  seems today for example that St Louis is showing a L-10 of 7-3 when they are 6-4 and have a streak of Won 3 when it is Won 1

Make sure you have the latest version (V3) - if there is still an issue - let me know

It's raining here in Chicago at the moment.  Game might get rained out.  I personally hope that is the case.  I know Butholio is 6-0 but I don't feel real strong about the Red Sux on the road today either.  Good luck everyone!

A rainout wouldn't be the worst thing. Where in Illinois are you? I used to live in Schaumburg.

Can't remember what the rpi for a road team was in B2W original system. Right now Boston is at 37 wasn't the road filter a 40? Just a thought, not sure might lay off and make it up with next play. I really hate losing!

Boston had an RPI difference of 54 when the chase started. If it drops below the filter level, during the chase, that doesn't matter.

If the game is played, I will not be going to make up all the losses. Still early in the season, we have plenty of time to make up a little loss here.

Just my 2 cents here. Ive lost 4.5 units early cause of BoSox and now again a C bet. Not too confident so im taking the loss and progress through the season. 

Red sox looks like they will come through.

Glad this series is over could not stand the Chicago announcers :), nice win.

I didn't find the announcers too bad; likely because when Konerko homered I was like "ahhh fu#%" but they calmed me down with their "well at least what remains of the 21,000 fans here will have something to go home happy about" comment.  In RPI we trust.

It doesn't look like any of the games will qualify tomorrow. KC and LAA were close but LAA won today and KC lost. KC is now below .500 as well. I'll verfiy in the morning but it looks like we wait to Friday. Possible plays are Oak (at Hou), AZ at home vs SD, Cincy at home against the Cubs, STL at LAD, ATL at NYM,

Confirmed for Thursday - No plays. Friday could have lots of action.
