Why have home dogs +110, +120, or PK not proven to work well in the system? Thanks

heres what he did in baseball 81-121 +151.97 YTD and yea thanks for tracking this bpd67, ive been following your system betting 10$ a unit and have made 90 so far for hockey, i started a little late, its not life changing, but its better than nothing.

" You can multiply the total unit profit by the size of the bet to give you a total profit for x dollars bet. So last season he'd make 151.97x profit. If x = $10, then it's 151.97(10) which totals $1,519.70 I like the whole idea, however I just do this betting dogs that I like, and make upwards of 350units per season on hockey.

I thought +130 was a good number, I have not gone in and done the numbers for anything lower or higher. I am looking at system involving hockey favs of -200 or higher, we'll see what happens, probably won't start posting it till next year. On the MLB system, tread lightly if you decide to follow as last year was the first year I decide to try it. It actually won all the money in the 1st half of the season.

Did you lose money the second half? Because according to a recent previous post, he claimed you went 81-121 for a +151.97 ytd. Was this faulty information? I was considering following it this upcoming season, so I am just curious as to your overall results. Thanks and good luck

That was for the entire season. Here's what it was to the Allstar break. 46-64 +155.2 (to the allstar break) So, yes it lost a little bit in the 2nd half. 35-57 -3.23 (after allstar break)

Any thoughts about why the decline in the second half? Or did it perform beyond expectations in the first half? Thanks for the responses, as you can tell you have sparked my interest

You know, I'm not real sure. I know in the past playing just +130 home dogs before the allstar break was profitable, not doubling up. I decided to try and double up to see what would happen and you can see great results. Last year was the first time I tried it. I'm going to monitor it again this year see what happens. That's why I say tread lightly, it could have been a fluke thing last year. However, in the past playing +130 home dogs would profit before the allstar break, last year that did not happen so hence the doubling up. Who knows? If I was really going to try this system with real money this year, I would start with about $2000 and play $5 a unit. This would allow you to lose 8 times in a row without going broke, I think that's as many losses in a row we had last year. Maybe 9, I can't remember.

Not sure if anyone cares, but I undertook the meticulous task of tracking how this system would have performed in past seasons. Thus far I have only have completed the

(sorry I am not sure what happened there)05'-06' season but it went pretty well. Overall, the system went 68-106. As far as profits go, I set the scale at 1 unit = $10 and under this guideline found that it would have made $827. ||moneybag.gif' border=0>

Are you talking baseball system or NHL? I think it can be profitable every year, but you'll need to have a dedicated bankroll that is pretty high and play a low unit $1, $5, $10. Playing anything more than that, it can get high quick. Even at 10, you'd be looking at 10,20,40,80,160,320,640,1280 if you lose 8 in a row. You'd be down $2500 in no time.

bpd67, I was referring to the 05'-06' NHL Season. I played any home dog +130 or more. (Playing 174 games seemed kind of high in comparison to how many you have played, not sure why that is) I had to wager 128units - Once, 64units- Once, 32units - Once, 16units - Three Times. That being said, there was one time that the system would have required betting 16units on 3 games in one night (which required a rather steep wager for just one night). There was 35 nights that required wagers on 2 or more teams. My question for you bpd67 is, do you think it would be a foolhardy to skip the nights when there are 2 or more games when the required bet is above 8units per game? That might keep things from getting a little too expensive. What do you think?

I don't know, possibly. The way I do it, is if there are two or more games, play them all, if you make a profit for that night, go back to one unit, so when that happens you don't actually make all your losses back. So maybe waiting until you only have one play might be the smart move, however, in hockey at least this year it seems that the plays are pretty low in number. TODAY'S PLAY EDMONTON +131 2 units

Because last night the Oilers closed at +142, this might be a nice little tweek for the system. Sorry about all the inquiries, I really just think you have something going on here.

Im gonna track the road dogs and see how it goes. Also is the baseball system the same as what your doing now? Just home dogs?

I play the numbers when I look at them in morning, it's all the same, you could make a few more bucks waiting sometimes but you can also lose a few. It all evens out I think. Big A, are those road dogs? That's a nice profit, but alot of plays, I wonder if all the months were that profitable, I'm guessing not, but maybe so. In baseball, I play home dogs only +130 and higher.

Those are all road dogs. Secondly theres something very interesting I found and it has to do with road dogs I just did. If you go to top cappers NHL and sort it by RSI. click on ap2004 and all he picked was road dogs. He didnt play all of them and he didnt play all the weeks either, he didnt play like 2 or 3 weeks when there were more then 3-4 games. Every month he has plus units. I didnt look into the other months besides feb. but I assume its all road dogs. Also wouldnt it be smart to cap the number maybe at +200? There were some wins but I wonder if anything over that is profitable? With the baseball you double up also? You ever consider playing the road dog either and filter games out? I have a baseball underdog system but it doesnt double up.

BigA I look at ap2004 just like you and it looks like all he does is take all teams ober +150. Home and away. Plays the same unit on each game. Unreal...

I didnt notice the over +150 but I thought for Febs he did all road plays.

It look like since December 15 went strickly with +150. It is hitting about 45% and he is up about 36 units.
