Champs, another thing, when you are using your formula, in the 2nd part of your formula.  Are you using "home" wins or all wins. Can you show how you calculate Florida today. Thanks.

Florida  has won only 1game out of their last 4 at home> Plus Colorado has won the last 4 meetings at Florida. Another reason is the line was -140 went down to -120. I think I am on the right side here, thanks. Even though they are 6-4 at home I think i will close the chase right here.I am going to make my final decision at one hour before the puck is launched.

Seahawk your fine , you are following the chase system, I am just handicapping it also. So this game could go either way I just think Colorado wins this one. I am going against the system what I shouldn't but I have a gut feeling. Hope this helps you understand.

Help? Im kind of lost here.  Florida is listed as one of the bottom/worst home teams, so should'nt we playing this series betting AGAINST Florida?

Exactly, notice how expert wrote  <<Colorado +120>>. This means take Colorado. I think this is the right play. Good value in fading the home team. Hopefully, it will hit.

Nice call! Unfortunately, the system play was the team that got shut out by Vokoun who only had to stop 23 shots so we'll have to add Florida to the home (fade) chase.

I laid off this bet tonite, I wasn't sure if I should fade or not. Just a suggestion wondering if we should test this......Chase the top teams at home and chase the bottom 8 to loose in a series on the road. It would seem more probable that the weaker teams would be more apt to loose on a road series than to have the home advantage. If you chase top teams at home they would be more likely to win at home and bet against bottom teams on the road series. Thoughts on this.......

24-  Good call on laying off. This is why I say a mix of handicapping and system strategy is necessary to do well.

As for your suggestion, funny that you mention it. I was gonna bring it up. The results are OUTSTANDING for home chasing when teams that are visiting are on a 3 game or more road trip. Check this out.

I've tracked ALL teams whether it be Detroit or San Jose or the worst teams, and I am  64 - 3  ( only Chicago, Anaheim, and Minnesota have sweeped a 3 or more road trip ). Only problem here is the high juice encountered because bets are always on the home team.  Keep in mind I have Anaheim and Boston that won both their first road games so I am currently chasing with them. But, otherwise, 64 wins with 3 series loss ( only one was 4 games with Anaheim in the start of the season) .

This means your idea should perhaps be taken very seriously.
