Would it be an option here to bet on the 60 minute line to get better odds on heavy favorites? I mean if New Jersey loses tonight and monday it can get pretty ugly to lay the beef on the fourth game...

Yeah the more you look at this the less I like it. Its a chase, period, which is awful. 2 series losses in a row and youre chasin those losses for months. Ive lost too much $ on chasing

I disagree look at the record so far.  If you don't like the chase strategies then why even enter a thread called
"NHL HOME CHASE 3 GAMES PLUS"

You would of done very well if you followed this from the start of the season.

Here is the record so far, LA is still in a 7 game home series, they lost their first 3 games.  Van starts a 6 game series tonight...

All series  19-1 +1459 units  (NYI losers all +money games)

    Top 16   10-0  +1000 units

    All but bottom 8  13-0 +1300 units

So there you have it, proving the doubters wrong.  Nobody says you have to play this all season, and nobody says you have to use $100 as your unit size....

    Thanks SRZTREE!!

Give an inch and they'll take a mile...lol.... I could do it, but I think I made enough of a contribution by doing the NHL.  Someone else should step up...Like I said before if we get a good group of guys with ideas and research, we should all do well!!!!

This system works just fine. I started a tread last year on it and has been good so far. I also run the same chase fading road teams playing 3 or more games in a row. Also do this with road teams in the NBA agaist the spread and unders with those same road teams. This has made a killing!!!!!!!!!

Just to clear this up. You say you are up 1400 units????? do you mean 14 units and $1400?????? based on $100 units????

I am all for helping out and discussing these chase systems. Good luck to all.

Update, this is working very well....

    All series   31-1   +$2659units

    Top 16       20-0   +$2000units

    All but bottom 8  24-0  +$2400units

Again the strategy is to get 1 win in the series.  If the team wins the first game and you decide to play the next game then thats on you...
Also this is Tomspeople strategy from last year, I had some free time so I made up the schedule and started the thread, as Tom was busy.  Again if we all share ideas and ask questions on how to make these strategies better we will all profit.  Thats why were are here!!!

SRTZEE, I'm wondering if I'm right on how this is done.

Let's say for example, Tonight, Tampa Bay their 1st Home game in a 4 Game Series.

With the MoneyLine if I lay $100.00 on them for a chance to win $60.45.

IF They Lose on Friday I need to double up and lay $200.00 on them. Let's say for arguments sake they have the same ML. That 200.00 is a chance to win 120.90. I’ve lost 100.00 on them already so I’d be actually winning $20.90, which I’m fine with.

But, let’s say they lose that one too. Now I’m down 300.00 and with this system I need to Double up again so on Sunday I need to lay down 400.00 for a chance to win 250.81 with the Current ML. Even if they win this game, I’m out $49.19. Is this right?

I wouldn’t doubt for one second that I'm wrong because I’ve been wrong more times than I can count, but if this is right, I don’t see the benefit unless you hit, at most, in Game two or you have some good Money Lines.

    Thanks

Yes you have to hit to win, as in all sports betting.  As you can see the strategy is 31-1 for all series so far.  TB is -154 for tonight so most people would bet $154 to win $100. And if they lose, the next game you would have to bet to win $154 (the amount you lost) + $100 (the amount you want to win)  so at the current ML
-154 you would bet $391 to win $254.00 Because this is a chase strategy and not knowing your bankroll, I would recommend you start small to make some profit and become more comfortable with the strategy, bet $15.40 to win $10  Also since TB is in the bottom 8, you should bet small or skip this series all together....

Thank you for your quick response, I've already placed my bets because I believe Tampa will win tonight and I had made that bet before seeing this thread, so no biggie there.  You mentioned the Bottom 8, is that the Ranking? Where can I find this list?

    Thank you again

It was posted above in the thread.  The bottom 8 are the worst 8 home record teams from last season.  I was keeping my units small $20 - $50 for the first month to see how it played out.  Now I am more confident to raise them, but it also depends on the team....

I found in the thread where you answered the question I had asked about the Ranking, sorry for not looking closer at it.

    Bottom 8 Home Records
LA, PHO, STL, TB, ATL, FLO, TOR, NYI

    Thanks again

SRTZEE; Are you going to stay with the bottom 8 from last year or would it be a good idea to switch to the bottom 8 (for the moment) for this year? Seems more accurate or what do you think?

Also; Are you always betting all the games in a series even if it´s a 7 game series like Los Angeles just had. I mean if they lose all 7 games it can wipe you out...
Or are we better off to always cut it of after 4 games and take the loss?

Well at the start of the season you can only go from last seasons stats.  It's still early in the season, maybe another few weeks then you can switch the bottom 8.

That all depends on the individual, what if you stop at 4 games, then they win the 5th.  You took a loss when you could of had a win.  If they are a good team, you have to believe they can get a win.  If it's a poor team and you decide to play that series then lower your unit size, in the end money management is always the key....
