New Strategy

I know how Little Bill Daggett must have felt in that final scene in Unforgiven.

The system has officially tanked since I repealed the 3-game chase max just a few days ago.

I will recap later, but I don't think it really matters. Just depends on how everybody played it.

I'm down 30 units since yesterday. Gonna try playing aggressive for recovery or complete failure, whichever comes first.

For simplicity I'm going to reset all values to zero explained why below:
I do know that if you played the system exactly how I suggested you lost up to 127 units Sun-8/15, because I repealed the 3-game chase max the day before yesterday (which blows my mind).
Depending how you played yesterday units could range from +4.00 playing only version 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2, to the -127 by playing only version 1.0 and chasing all 7 games.
I'm sure you all fall in to that range somewhere.  But I can't determine that so I will just reset and move on.

Rule number 1 has to be stop chasing after 3 or 4 losses in a row and reset to a lower unit value (not yet determined).

I think a lot of us got lucky and missed at least 2 games due to overlapping innings and betus not taking action on sdp/sfo.
If Rule #1 was strictly followed we would be down roughly 15 units on a 3-gamer, and 22 units on a 4 gamer.  Not good, but at least able to mount a recovery effort.

I lost 22 units Sunday.
I will attempt to take a more aggressive approach to winning these 22 units back because I believe this system/strategy can work if discipline is maintained and BS Luck gets back on our side.

So I am thinking about playing game 1 of version 1.0 for roughly 18% of 22 units (4 units).
I am still experimenting with playing all versions so that will continue at around 1 unit each.

Just a thought here. Version 1 actually won yesterday. If you had chased through game 3 and quit, you would have come out a winner.

Because there were so many games left, I decided to not chase game 3 but actually decreased my bet. Bad decision. The system actually worked, I didn't trust it.

Maybe I have misunderstood. I thought the system was to bet, and then chase through game 3.

I have found the system alternates on being successful from one day to the next.  Today should be winning day.

Also, it's not a bad idea to hedge your 1st bet with the next best dog for the time slot. Lately the big dogs have been losing early on.
I have made these points many times on this thread and on SBR but not getting much feedback.  Based on this, yesterday was definitely a day to refrain.  I also find when we have a wide range of time slots to work with, there is more leeway in projecting yes or no scoring, especially if you break it down between V1 and V2. ( for example day games with night games)

Just my opinion for whatever you all think it's worth. But it has worked for me and avoided bloodbaths like yesterday.  At the very least, until we see consistent changes and better results, it's not a bad idea to factor that into money management.

I am sad today. My fun account is at zero. It was where I played these bets from at peanuts on the dollar and it is all gone.

like I said: all the second tier dogs scored in the 1st and the biggest dog did not score. so system went 3-1.

 

 

how long have you been playing like this?  thing is though if you have one bad night it could be as bad as a chase. so you are saying just play all the plus odds straight in that time slot?

Time for me to cut bait on 1.0C. I have a B game on 1.2 tor/oak.
All other versions have covered. I will take a 2 or 6 unit loss and see what happens tomorrow.

i just wagered 2 to win 2.5 units so if it loses im down 5 units to start the week....  might have to start playing my own way and not blindly following plus money if this loses.
