Picking a winner in a game is not "HANDICAPPING" its flipping a coin, no matter what the teams are, where the game is, and what the line is which ever team you wager on is a 50/50 chance of winning. Now of course I do pick solo teams all the time but hey im a compulsive gambler we all are its what we do but here is my great football system...........................
THE TEASER
Theres many different ways to tease a game with the lowest spread at 6 with good odds and as much as 16pts 4 teams with a 1-3 pay out.
My favorite type of teaser is a 10pt teaser which when you risk 100 you win about 80. You choose 3 teams and get 10 pts off, the key to this tease is to choose the FAVORITES ONLY and teams that are - bewtween 10-11. You want to have your team down to pk,-0.5 or -1 at most. My bookmaker if I was to win by only 1 Its a push so you dont want teams that are -11.5 or 12.
If a 11 pt favorite loses than you know what suck it up whats the chances that a 11pt favorite usually moneylined around -500 can lose straight up. Not to often now it does happen but I have definetley won more of these then I have lost and have made a huge profit. Taking HOME favorites it always a big help as well a great example of this for week 1 would be
EXAMPLE:
NWESTERN-11 TO -1
Wyoming-10 to pk
MInnesota-10 pk
There are other teams on the road -11,12 which you could also use but this is the best example to fit my strategy. This will be one of my plays for opening week.
