Regarding Tampa Bay has having no hopes for post season, I believe they do not want to end up like Detroit last year, so they'll play hard to win their first game>>> then they'll tank the season.

Also, someone posted earlier (sorry no time to look for that post) that Detroit last year was in the ATS.

Odd that Tampa was released by morrison when it states in his system that:

"Some exceptions are that you should not make a bet for any team late during the season when it has already been eliminated from playoff qualification. As long as your team still has any kind of a playoff chance, then they’re good to go; but if they know that they aren’t going to qualify for the playoffs regardless if they win all of their remaining games, then chances are they might not put 100% into their plays, and it’s not worth it to risk your money when your team might not be playing with its best effort."

has anyone ever used handicapper David Banks ( the las vegas legend)? his pick packages are a lot cheaper then other handicappers and he sports a good track record on his emails...however he doesnt publish his wins and losses for you to see...anyone know if hes for real..or just full of shit?

The Nba system is good but it relies heavily on buying the 3 points.
I have done the stats and this NFL system can be applied to NBA but more caution/filters needs to be applied.
1. Take teams that dont have their top scored injured
2. Teams must have a PCT of at least 0.400
3. Dont make plays till December

Detroit Pistons were the only genuine loss last season, they were so unpredictable it wasnt funny...

The only legit loss last year was the Sac Kings in the initial JM play for the season.  After posting Sac as C wager, JM came back at 1/2 time to state , Sac wasn't a play because they were the leagues worst defensive team (one of the filters).  When asked why he emailed the play, JM stated he just emailed a personal play (BS),  The game lost but JM just swept the whole series under the rug like it never existed. ''

To the system's credit, it went unblemished the rest of the season.  Not sure where the Det loss stated came into play.

The system has only had 1 loss each of the past 2 seasons and you don't have to wait until December.  It's off to a great start going 4 -0 so far with all games winning on the A wager.

That wont ever happen since your taking the road teams.

I dont agree with the 3 point rule...backtracked it myself..the money spend on the 3 point buy is just profits lost..when your losing less then 3 or 4 play a season at MOST...without the buy..its just not practical...not to mention a smart player can choose better match ups along the line to make up for any losses...also play strong home teams..and sets against very poor teams...that will also boost your wining plays...there is a lot of value in home sets reguarless the conference they are in when playing against poor teams...enjoy

also stats state that you A and B plays with cover most of the time..with rare C plays or losses...there for one can also add in a profit for a B play as well as chase the A profit in the case of a great match up

You have to recheck your stats.  Buying  points came into effect more than 10 times last year.  And I am only able to buy 2 points not 3.  The same results were for the previous year also. I want to say it was 13 times.

A few of us had discussions of what if's

Playing the system with only the pointspread.  You would then have to go back and figure out when any team won by buying the points if the next game they would have covered etc. to get a true reading what the results would be.  We ended up just counting those games as a loss.

Using last year as an ex.  a 3 game loss would cost you about 7.5 units.by using only the spread and not buying points.

79 wins minus 13.= 66 wins withpoints spread using 100 as a unit. would win you 6600.  Now you have to subtract the losses 13 x 7.5 units (7500).  You would end up on the negative side.

I will debate that buying the points will be more profitable than not buying them.  Of course if the system loses 4 games, I would say it would break even.  Over 5 you will lose money.and take a beating. 3 system losses and you will still profit . 2 ,1 or 0 will just increase profits with 79-0 netting you $7900.

This is my take, you can agree or disagree, which is fine.  I'm just bringing out a point to ponder.

This is where you will get into trouble because your gut will tell you this is a good play or a bad play and your gut will be wrong some of the time and thus turn a "system" win into a loss. or greater.  Unless you have played the system for a season, you can not imagine the headgames a system wager will play on you.

"i'm not going to wager "C" $$$ on that shit team" or "this game looks like an easy win so I will double up here" .... and then hello you lose and now you are really "chasing"..

Trust me, I use a local on a computer site.  If I get ahead for the week, I want the $$$ and I sometimes tuck my tail because I don't want to lose "my" $$$.

Last Sunday I was up 1000 for the week and usually play Jm to win 500.  it would cost me 750 to make 500 buying the 2 points on (A) wager.  I passed on Atl hoping they would lose A.  of course they won and by tucking it cost me 500.

I'm ahead 950 going into Sunday.but I need willpower to not wager NBA NHL or NFL. it will be tough but there will always be Monday.

i totally understand that the buying of the 3 points would increase your winning %age....cappers say that buying the half point alone will increase you by 6%..which is HUGE over the span of a season...however looking back 3 seasons and NOT calculating the 3 point buy the most losses i got is 5 (using filters)....and mim wins is 86....86-5......figure 81...so 8100.....then 5 losses so figure 3750...netting you a profit of  4350

you said that you came up with 10 losses last season and 13 the previous one..i would like to see the numbers on those losses...i just dont see it when i backtrack it..unless covers stats are incorrect on who covered the spreads

i guess it really depends on your filters and how crafty you wanna get..i found out looking through the numbers that home stands can be plays as well...of course only on strong teams like atlanta...utah..cleveland etc...not to mention depending on the situation you can only brick out so many times on a chase befor you end up with a hit...so i guess the real lesson here is making high %age plays and managing your bankroll without going under within the system

hey i forgot to add...one of my filters was only playing the top 20 (2/3) of the leauge...so by cutting out the bottom 10 iam sure my total number of plays would have been different..ending in a totally different win/loss result from your numbers..naturally...so in a sense we might be comparing apple and oranges...lol...

i greatly appreciate your opinions on this...ive never used a system in my life...so iam pretty much surrendering after years of 50/50 results...

also i guess another issue i have with the 3 point thing is the fact that iam currently using bodog..which is the shit hole of all sportsbooks...they dont offer a damn thing but a half point buy..fun fact for ya...if you havent heard bodog simply does NOT offer spreads on NHL games..lol ...someone help me lol
