Thanks for the input. They lost >5 in the middle of a Chase. Bart skips two games in this scenario; I keep chasing. Personally, I don't see the edge in skipping two more games - but admittedly I haven't back-tested to see which method is more profitable long term.

with the original rules: skip 2 games after a loss of 5+, and taking dogs on RL+1.5, since 2010 the record is 352 - 3

Thanks, man. That is pretty impressive. If things don't go well this season I will probably play by the original rules.
I do know flwareagle played the system without skipping two games during a Chase and did pretty well two seasons ago. Personally, I don't get the logic of why a series would lose its value because a team won or lost by 5+ in one of the games. But Chase systems are pretty illogical to start with, and Bart and Cisco have a long track record of success, so it may be worth sticking to the original rules. It's a long season; we will see. Best of luck.

The play was a Texas fade; you should have been able to tell due to the under .470 record and the fact that they're on the 10 teams to be faded in April - but it's my fault for the error.

I used to go once a year for 3-4 weeks before I settled down and started a family.

Really?? That's awesome, man. I'm studying in Italy and hitting most of the major European cities on the weekends. It's a great place; the lack of Internet/ cellular service has been rough though. I've developed a pretty strong hatred for US cell phone companies. Haha

After some careful thought (brought on by the Detroit loss), I've decided to stick with the original rules of the 5 run chases for the remainder of the season. There's no use in changing what works without a really strong reason.
Hence, there won't be much of a difference between this thread and Bart's google doc outside of the home fade system. However, if I hit my unit goal in an individual subsystem, I will probably run a one line labby with it for the rest of the season. That will be a little different.
A. Marlins fade +1.5 (should technically be a D bet, but I'm picking up the series here after missing the first three games)
A. Rangers fade +1.5
A. Twins fade
A. Rangers fade +1.5
A. Twins fade
*A. Tigers (double play - no action)
YTD Chase Record: 12-1
Unit count: -18.62
