- I got SD as a fav yesterday so... It opened as a dog. vmalerba did u see any email with excuses saying that depending on when u placed the bet etc. ?

I got it as a Fav as well...but here is what Morrisson is saying:

"San Diego should have been wagered on the +1.5 Run Line last night because the Money Line odds for them to win was less than -115. If you wagered on them on the money line, then you can still bet on them for tonight's game if you wish. However, note that the series is considered closed as they were a winning [B] bet if you had wagered on them accordingly to the alternate run line rule of the system.  To be safe rather than sorry, you should always bet on the +1.5 run line if the Money Line odds for your team to win is -115 or less (-110 for example would be considered less). If the +1.5 run line is not offered if your team has a money line odd to win of -113 for example, then you should look for it in the "Alternate Run Line" or "Reverse Run Line" section of your bookmaker."

i didnt get that email for some reason. but ive seen this situation before. he always gets the better line.  

Both winners last night, fortunately it did not matter this time.

How do you get the formula and calculate the RPI for the each game?

Subtract the rpi's for your team from the other.  If your team's rpi is greater than .015 different from the opponent than play at your own risk ("unofficial play"). In other words good teams have high rpi's, if your team is not within .015 of the opponent, than their ability to beat them is in doubt

^ That is what espn.com uses to calculate RPI anyway.
