That is correct. I love even plays, meaning when the lines are even, go with the visitor.

COL is the dog right now - I hope it stays that way - I really want to play them which lines up with another system - unfortunately SDG is hot right now - hope COL can steal the first game away.

Also hope PIT ends up being a slight DOG - bunch of other systems are on PIT (including super systems )

SD became the dog -101 to -105. I looked at the Line Moves and all lines are above -101. How does Covers get -101 because all the lines do not come close to avg. out to -101!

I think they use their own algorithm to determine lines.

Anyone else notice that when, i.e. tonight, mia was the dog and even at +101, at my offshore book, they had the -1.5 RL? they should be +1.5 if they are the dog, but that was the alternative rl in my book (different link). every time i notice this, the team that is a dog but has the -1.5 rl more than often loses.

Btw does anybody know how much it takes for a line to move? I know its a lot, so im just curious as to the ballpark figure 10k, 25k.....?????

That's a really good indicator of a mismatch. The only thing I don't know is how much action is placed on RL's. I gotta think that RL's are left to serious bettors.

Lines really don't change based on money, sorta. Basically those lines adjust when the BOOKS figure they've reached a peak and then adjust to draw action on the other side. Most of them are only trying to cover the action and make a few bucks. A common misconception is they make millions everyday from sports bets. Not true, well maybe on Superbowl or NBA playoffs.
