7/17 - Baltimore

The St. Louis game was close and batting heavily favored Brewers, so I backed off. It was more of capping instinct than filter.

I am not counting Pitt or Seattle. I didn't pick them. I wish I would have. I  just missed them.

7/17 - Oakland - I hope this line holds out. Texas should stay favored, but I think late action is going to drive the price up out of reach.

You can't win every game, but it's not for a lack of trying. I finally reached my first goal of  150 units. I had hoped to do this by July 1, but a couple of  bad days cost me. Now I have about 45 days to get to 300 units to make my goal for the season.

Thanks GB, I have been watching that line since last night and agree fully. TB has issues and they will be exploited tongiht.

I also like the Under 8 in this game.

Here's something to chew on...I am a HUGE Angels fan! Last year, down the stretch, every time the Angels won, the Rangers won, and vice versa. This phenomenon seems to be happening again. Since TEX  is the "big dog" they are not motivated to win unless they are threatened. As the Angels caught fire, the Rangers are playing better. If the Rangers win, I will bet on LAA. If they lose I will bet DET. WDYT? Check last years scores if you disagree, but I think this does make a lot of sense when you don;t have to do your best when no one is motivated.

Interesting theory. I don't necessarily agree with that as we are still early in the season. All the Angles have to do is keep pace and stay healthy.

Rangers are a flat out good team, but the Yanks are smoking HOT right now. In about 15 - 20 days you will start to see a push by teams. Tighter match ups mean tigher lines. What I am curious to see is if this DOG and PONY holds up. My cut off right now is the same as B2W's around the middle of August. Thats when the fire gets lit and crazy shit happens.

I need to go back and see how many DOGS win after about the 20th.

I think the Cubs should be a play, assuming they remain at +105 or better.
