SDG - just became the DOG - i'm out too much movement

Correct choice, wait till Thursday.

I looked at Houston and everything favors them. I'd leave this alone.

I need to look at the percentage o DOG's with better pitching ERA's. It seems like the DOG's that have betters ERA's win more often.

I am looking at other sites to gather the information, but the problem is....this is a line based strategy and the lines are constantly moving based on bets. I love bets that have little line movements, those are winning a high percentage of the time.

I would have taken Brewers if I'd seen that line change to make them the DOG. I should have passed just based the on the number of line movements.

1. No bet if the line is higher than -110 for either team.
Some exceptions made for -111, but I'll review as needed.
2. Wait for the line movements to stop, some times moves happen up to 2-3 minutes before game time.
3. Take the DOG
4. Avoid games where the DOG is going to sweep a series.
5. Avoid games where there is a lot of line movement.

Oh yea right now we are at 68% (17 - 8). The best part is if you bet on every game you would be way ahead because the juice is either really low or or + money.

Is there a site where you can see Sagarin ratings on a day to day basis (to backtest)? I can only seem to find the ratings that are updated

Any thoughts on Pitt becoming the dog by game time? The pitching match-up sure favours Pit.

 

Could PIT be a play if they become the dog?

Pit was off for me, but I agree with gbpack, had Pitt become the Dog I might have taken it.

If you don't see it listed here, it's off for me.

Watch that Pads v Astros game. If Houston becomes the DOG they will be the play. The only reason they are favored is because of that ERA. Either way I think Houston is the play, at least they can get to the ball.

The other game is Boston v Seattle. Seattle sucks and Boston has been slumping. Pitching is near even, but hitting favors the Sox. Right now the line is even, Boston is the play if the line stays even or if they become the DOG. I don't expect much line movement, because most gamblers aren't going to see any value in this game, but I do.

It's a pass on Pad v Astros. Houston has all the advantages today.

Boston right now is looking like the play.

CIN vs. SF is quickly approaching game line values appropriate for this system.

If it does, CINCY will be the play. At home SF won't be the DOG.

Nice read irage! Boston hasnt been slumping,they are rather hot,won 8 of 11 i believe. Felix has ben eradic as of late.

Perhaps that's a strong word, but how do explain them not scoring a single run against Seattle. Everyone is hitting of them.

sorry might have been asked before  wherer do you guys like to check line movement ?? I did use SBR live odds ..is that ok to use for this ??

They use covers odds to determine who is the dog, its been back tested using the same source.

Lee needs to get of the mound and where they hell are the bats for Philly?

I hope they can knock off Johnson in the next inning so they get a crack at MIA bullpen
